CTU INTRODUCTION
VinUni–Vinmec Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is a centralized department between VinUniversity and the Vinmec International General Hospital System. CTU supports the entire clinical trial process – from feasibility assessment and study start-up to study close-out – to ensure quality in accordance with ICH-GCP standards and compliance with regulations of the Ministry of Health. The CTU aims to become a trusted partner in supporting both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

Clinical trials are studies in humans that evaluate the safety, efficacy, and clinical value of new medicines, vaccines, devices, or therapies before they are widely used. They provide the most reliable end-stage evidence for regulatory approval and clinical decision-making. Every major advance in medicine – from vaccines and antibiotics to modern cancer therapies – has passed through rigorously designed clinical trials.
